Form-to-page matching
Each saved form is tied to its page URL so checks stay focused on the right form.
Probes and saved forms
Run a probe when you add a form. Re-run it when the form changes, for example after a plugin update, a theme redesign, or field edits.
Schedule and timing
- New forms start with your account default timing.
- Paid plans can customize time zone, preferred time, and active weekdays.
- Free plans keep default timing only, but you can still pause or resume checks.
- Next-run times are approximate because queue load and site response time can vary.
Test sender name per form
You can set a custom test sender name on each form from form settings in the dashboard. This controls the name value used in automated submissions.
If you clear that setting (or enter only spaces), FormReceipt uses the built-in default name John Anderson.
Failed runs and troubleshooting
When a run fails, open the run details and review the "What went wrong" panel. It highlights likely causes (for example missing required fields, blocked submit, or challenge screens) and suggests next steps.
For a full walkthrough, see understanding failed test runs.
Test history and cleanup
Use test history to compare outcomes over time. If you remove a form, its run history for that entry is removed too.
